FOUGHT WITH A BURGLAR.

NEW YORK, Oct. 18.—Jose Trujillo, editor of El Porvenir, the Cuban newspaper in this city, was attacked early today by a burglar named Kelly. Trujillo, roused from his sleep, succeeded in wresting a revolver from the hands of the burglar after a desperate struggle. He fired the revolver at random, severely wounding the burglar. Kelly succeeded in making his escape from the residence. He was traced for blocks by the trail of blood and ultimately was discovered severely wounded at Bellevue hospital, where he was being treated as a patient.
