Both houses of the legislature of this state, have agreed to a bill for the removal of the seat of government of the state of Pennsylvania, to the borough of Lancaster, until a permanent seat can be fixed on. By this act commissioners are appointed to prepare buildings for the reception of the legislature whose next session is to be held there, and all offices attached to the government are to be removed there on or before the first of November next. The governor has not given his assent as yet.
