Shipment of Barley to Globe
The first shipment of this year's rolling of barley was made Friday by the Big Six. The consignment goes to Globe. The grain was rolled at the mill of the Producers company. Manager William Pace of the Big Six informs your correspondent that he paid $1.25 per hundred for the barley, which is considered a good opening price. The highest mark barley reached last year was $1.35. This rolling practically opens the barley season. Wheat will be ready to market the latter part of June.
