The Alumni Association of the Washington High Night School met Thursday at the residence of R. O. Taylor, on Raymond Street, for the purpose of electing officers for the scholastic year 1948-49. Nathaniel Woodlard, valedictorian of the Class of '47 and a student at Morehouse presided.
The newly elected officers are as follows: Mrs. Lillian Smith, president; P. D. Lucas, vice-president; Mrs. Ruth Howard, secretary; Mrs. Sara McKenzie, assistant secretary: W. E. Mims. treasurer: R. O. Taylor business manager: Mrs. Lizzie Davis chairman of the Entertainment Committee; Willie Benton, reporter: Charlie Hester, chaplain; Mrs. Sallie Patrick. chairman of the Program Committee; and Mrs. Frances Burdett, chairman of the Sick Committee
Prof. Milton J. White principal delivered the installation address.
