Hats Off to Superior Egs
The editorial staff of The Atlanta Inquirer is proud to pay tribute to the Superior Egg Corp., distributors of the "Skillet Egg" and assorted poultry products. This firm exhibits the courage necessary to offer equal economic opportunities to Negroes. They deserve the respect and support of every self-respecting Negro in the Community.
Operating in a sea of discrimination and segregation, they have dared risk the criticism of their peers by demonstrating to the public at large their belief in equality of employment opportunities regardless of race. They have established a sales outlet on Auburn Ave.. N. E.. in the heart of the Negro business Community, completely staffed with Negroes. Their plant is operated on the same basis.
Certainly. it would be said commentary of the Atlanta Negro Community, if we did not throw the full weight of our economic support behind this venture.
