Full Text

Extract of a Letter from London, dated July 12th, in the Evening.

" What was said respecting Mr. Pitt's coming into the Ministry in the Papers of the Morning, was generally confirmed at Noon, with this additional Circumstance, that the Ministry all resigned Yesterday after the Levee was over; at which were present her Royal Highness the Princess Amelia. her Royal Highness the Princess Dowager of Wales, and the rest of the Royal Family.

" The Occasion of the Resignation is said to arise from their not consenting to be dictated to; but whether by Lord B--or Mr. P, or both, is not yet transpired.--They would have willingly staid in and serv'd their King and Country to the best of their Abilities; but as they were not thought sufficient, they choose rather to resign than be Tools to any particular Persons, not superior to themselves."

Another Letter dated July 15th, says, " I wish you Joy on Mr. PITT's being again in the Ministry."
