Withdrawal OF MR. Buchanan. It is stated that Mr. Breckenridge really made a proposition to Mr. Buchanan at the Wheatlands on the subject of his withdrawal. The plan is to get Mr. Donelson also to withdraw. and unite the Democratic and American tickets in the persons of Fillmore and Breckenridge. Such a ticket, Mr. Breckenridge thinks, will be likely to succeed against Fremont and Dayton. What is to be done about the two platforms, does not appear. Nor have we learned what response Mr. Buchanan made to the proposition.—Philadelphia Bulletin.
