Ex-Gov. Coburn was in this city yesterday.
John E. Avery, Esq., is on a trip to Boston.
Mr. Potter, Gov. Robie's private secretary, was in town yesterday.
Ex-Mayor Philbrook's residence on Grove street is undergoing repairs.
S. L. Boardman, Esq., lectures before Oak Grove Grange, Vassalboro, Friday evening, April 4th.
Mrs. Oramandal Smith has a blotched petunia, 3 feet high, containing 18 fully developed blossoms and upwards of 20 buds.
Albert Burleigh, Esq., collector of customs of the Aroostook district, accompanied by his wife, returned home yesterday from a visit to his brother, Hon. E. C. Burleigh of this city. The two gentlemen have just returned from a trip to Boston.
Gov. Robie and Councillors Crockett and Bolster, in company, will make an extended trip West, immediately following the Chicago republican convention. They will visit Dakota and Oregon, returning about the Fourth of July. The two latter gentlemen propose to make investments in sections visited if favorable opportunity offers. Mr. Bolster is already the owner of real estate in Dakota.
