To The Nurses' Aides
Marion, N. C.
Dear Friends:
I wish to express the sincere appreciation of the members of the hospital staff for the volunteer service you have so graciously given. For the information of the general public, I would like to explain that several McDowell County women, who recently completed a Nurses Aide course under the supervision of Mrs. Donald McIntosh, Jr., have assisted in the work at the hospital at a time when help was limited and have made it possible for the patients to have more individual attention than they otherwise could have had. Inasmuch as the time that they have given to this work has been for the benefit of the public as well as assistance to the hospital staff, we would like for special recognition to be given to the Nurses Aides of McDowell County.
Sincerely,
CLARA MARRETT,
Supt. of Nurses
Marion General Hospital
