All the grafters are working together: Team Work! Yes, team work with a vengeance, and then some for good measure.

When money pulls the string, the whole rotten gang jump with a speed that would make radio waves sick with envy.

The whole thing was planned and worked out like clock work, and the city of Red Wing got the nicest double-crossing ever accorded to a community of creatures whom they play as half-wits. Yes we said half-wits, and that is just the category in which they place Red Wing.

Who did the double-crossing? Don't you know yet, and how long will it take you to wake up? Well here's the bunch. Red Wing's daily gutter snipes who are getting $350 a month from the power trust in advertising, or $4,200.00 per year, are the leading knaves in the dastardly set up.

They, assisted by the smallest group of manufacturers that ever congregated within the confines of a so-called city limits. A group so beastly small and narrow that any one of the group can sit on a door knob and look through the key hole with both eyes at the same time.

These rascals were assisted by such aldermen as Chinlund and

Seebach, who have never been convicted by any jury of having brains enough to make a rattling noise in a mosquito's bladder.

These penny-ante punks or rather nonentities, are the ones whom the honest citizens of Red Wing can thank for the double-crossing.

So far, however, we have only called your attention to local talent. We shall now shift the scenes to fields afar. There for instance, is Mr. Bonner, chairman of the Power Commission at Washington, the jackass who lugs the dirt for the power trust, and his jackassistance Finney, former ass-sistant of A. B. Fall who stole the capitol Dome.

These are the tools who connived to stab Red Wing in the back, and with the assistance of our local pe-NUT politicians, who made a perfect double-cross possible.

Yes made it possible by co-operating with the biggest and best grafters that were ever out of captivity.

Yes! They had it timed perfectly. They waited until they had Chinlund by the neck and Seebach where his hair was short, and the council where they lacked a majority. Then what did they do? They waited just long enough with their decisions, so that it would be impossible for the new council to act.

They knew that the people would elect some of the present members of the city council to stay at home at the next election, so the permit was acted upon so that the city's opportunity for appeal would expire March 31st while the old council is still in office.

Had they waited another week or two, a new city council would have been elected, that would have been a people's council, and for that reason the power trust took no chances. But we want to serve notice right here that there will be a new council soon that will represent the people and not the power gang.

Seebach will be relegated to the political scrapheap and will go down in history as a double-crosser of the people, and let it be by such a majority that he will never show his face in daylight again.

There is only one thing for Seebach to do and that is to go where people do not know him.

He should be ashamed to walk down the streets of Red Wing, and how is it possible for Chinlund to look anyone in the face is a question that would be hard to solve.

In fact if either of these birds had any manhood left in them they would do, as Judas did when he double-crossed Christ, they would buy ropes and hang themselves.
