NEW FEATURES OF THE WESTERN RAILROAD WAR The Madison, (Wis.) Democrat publishes an abstract of the papers served upon the Attorney General and the late railroad commissioners, notifying them that an injunction would be applied for in the United States District Court for the western district of Wisconsin, to restrain them from instituting any proceedings or taking any measure for the purpose of executing an act of the Legislature regulating railroads. The action is not brought in the name of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad Company but in the name of its creditors, who claim that their securities are weakened or destroyed by the law of last winter. The creditor parties to the litigation are William Frederick Rick, Moses Taylor, Henry R. Person, the Farmers' and Loan and Trust Company and the Union Trust Company of New York. The defendants were cited to appear at Madison, before Judge Drummond, on Thursday last, which they did, when the Attorney General asked for time. Judge Drummond said that pending the delay, a temporary injunction would be granted, when the Attorney General agreed to proceed with the argument at once.
