SPICER February 6, 1928 Business meeting or Ladies Aid The Zion Ladies Aid held their annual business meeting Wednesday, February 1st at the church annex. The following officers were elected. President, Mrs. E. M. Farness; Vice President, Mrs. Olaus Thorvig; Secretary, Miss Phebe Hendrickson; Treasurer, Mrs. H. J. Thorvig. A visiting committee was elected who will visit the sick and Strangers in the community: These were Mrs. Sev. Gjerde, Mrs. Christ Rosacker, Mrs. Otto Ronning, and Mrs. Jacob Nelson. It was decided to get little mission pamphlets for this committee to distribute. A decorating committee was elected. These were Mrs. Joseph Cook, Mrs. Ellen Lewis and Miss Mabel Hendrickson. It was decided to give $200.00 to help defray the running expenses of the church. Three food sales will be held during the summer in June, July and August. Each member pledged themselves to pay 25 cents each month for Ladies Aid dues, to be paid whether the members are present or not. The regular price of 15 cents for lunch and 25 cents for supper will be charged to visitors. Devotions will be held at 2:30 P. M. in place of two o'clock.
