COMMUNITY PROGRESS

Completion of the town jail and selection of a town marshal soon will give Nespelem proper assurance of the adequate law enforcement it has so long needed. It will mark a definite step toward civic reconstruction made possible through incorporation.

Organization of local civic forces undoubtedly will make possible the securing of other local needs. Through the selection of council members to look after the various community departments these projects can be more efficiently promoted and more speedily attained.
