Williams Releases Moonshine Figures

Commissioner T. V. Williams of State Revenue Department has released figures for Anti-Moonshine activities in his department, for the month of December. Commissioner Williams said that 551 persons have been arrested and 362 stills destroyed. The stills destroyed represented a capacity of 164,450 gallons. In addition to the stills, 259,209 gallons of mash were destroyed, and 5,932 gallons of moonshine liquor were poured out. He also said that 71 vehicles were confiscated.
