The cold Weather on the 21st and 22d of February last was the severest through the Continent that ever was remembered.--At New York a Glass of Madeira froze to the Centre in three Minutes.-- The greatest Quantity of Wine and Strong Beer was frozen that was ever known.
At Philadelphia a Glass Of Wine standing within 8 or 9 Feet of a Chimney, wherein had been a strong Hickory Fire the whole Evening till Midnight, was congealed to the Consistence of Snow, from Top to Bottom by Morning.
