Woman's Day At Bowen Methodist Church, High Point

Woman's Day at Bowen will be observed throughout the day. The "Theme" selected is "The Forward Look Of A Christian Woman"

Guest Speaker at the 11 o'clock hour will be Mrs. C. S. Stinson, the wife of Rev. C. S. Stinson, pastor of Warren Memorial Methodist Church

She is a well known religious worker in the Methodist Church having held office in the conference woman's Society of Christian Service and served several years as president of the Conference Minister's Wives

She will be ably introduced by Mrs. Reba C. Davis, a former public school teacher and member of Bowen. Presiding over the program will be Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor, president of Bowen's Woman's Society of Christian Service.

Other participants will be: Mrs. Monteen Terrell, bringing a welcome address; Mrs. Hilda Grooms, responsive reading; Mrs. Lula Zachary, the scripture, Mrs. Ruby Turnipseed, prayer. Mrs. Barbara Jones, acknowledgement of visitors; and a soprano solo by Mrs. Mary Hall

Special music will be rendered by the Woman's Day chorus, directed by Mrs. Mable M. Robinson. Greetings will be brought from neighboring churches

At 7:30 p.m. a Travelogue will be presented by Mrs. Harry V. Richardson, wife of Dr. Harry V. Richardson, president of the Interdenominational Theological Center, and Mrs. Melvina Nagbe, a student at the Seminary from Liberia.

A brief fellowship period will follow the travelogue presentation.

The members of the church extend a cordial welcome and invitation to the public to worship with them in these special Women's Day Services. Rev. H. C. Fisher, pastor
