Mrs. S. W. Belford, state chairman of the Woman's Liberty Loan committee, named recently by the secretary of the treasury, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Charles B. Henderson of Elko and Mrs. E. S. Grigsby of Tonopah as county chairmen.
Mrs. Henderson will have charge of the organization work in Elko county and Mrs. Grigsby will act in a similar capacity in Nye county, says the Reno Evening Gazette.
Mrs. Belford says the work of the committee is going ahead in a very satisfactory manner in those counties where chairmen have been named and she expects to announce the appointment of other county chairmen in a short time.
The state chairman recently received a letter from Mrs. A. S. Baldwin of San Francisco, chairman of the Twelfth federal reserve district.
Mrs. Baldwin is very enthusiastic about a plan suggested by Mrs. Belford to secure co-operation in conducting the Liberty Loan work.
