Full Text

We learn from Connecticut, that the Susquehannah Company are perfectly satisfied with the late donation of Congress, of a tract of land to the westward of Pennsylvania, in lieu of their claims to the lands at Wyoming--and that the conduct of that incendiary, Ethan Allen, is severely condemned by them.--We are further informed that his atheistical Highness met with a very cold reception from the inhabitants of Wyoming in his late visit to them, and that a great majority of those people express a desire of being united in laws and government with the citizens of Pennsylvania. From these circumstances there is reason to believe that the lands on the east branch of Susquehannah will soon vie in population, order and wealth with the oldest settlements in our state.
