Full Text
J. H. Stoneman is now extracting the honey his bees have gathered this season and he expects to have about fifteen or sixteen tons this year. Mr. Stoneman states that this is the best season he has known since he started in the business here ten years ago. He has 400 hives and expects to get 100 pounds of honey from each hive.
He would like to give a live bee demonstration at the fair, but he must extract the honey from the hives that are left. Delay in this work means that the honey will become stiff and is so much harder to extract.
