Guard Seeks 26 Recruits

The local company of the National Guard needs 26 enlistments to recruit it up to full authorized strength, Dr. M. I. Merritt advised Rotarians yesterday at their regular weekly luncheon.

He said that service clubs have been asked to help in getting recruits and it is hoped to have all companies filled by October 15th.

High School Coach Wally Smith was main speaker at yesterday's meeting. He spoke on football and said a football clinic would be opened here next spring.

In addition to Coach Smith, Mayor Louis Hudgin, Ed Rockwell of Tucson and Leo Urquides of Magdalena were guests.
