CHICAGO, Dec. 17. (U.P.)—Twenty-two football players, representing 17 eastern and middlewestern universities, were enroute today for San Francisco, where they will meet a picked Pacific Coast team in the east-west charity football game, December 27.
The squad included 12 players who were captains of their respective teams during the 1930 season as follows: Vincent, Yale; Siano, Fordham; Baker, Pittsburgh; Hart, Colgate; Bates, Western Maryland; Fogarty, Brown; Bernard, Syracuse; Gardner, Villanova; Bruder, Northwestern; Brockmeyer, Minnesota; Van Bibber, Purdue, and Gantenbein, Wisconsin.
The remaining players were Baker and Woodworth, Northwestern; Wheeler, Michigan; Lubratovich, Wisconsin; Ely, Iowa; Selby, Ohio State; Macaluso and Doyle, Colgate; Rosenzweig, Carnegie Tech, and Linehan, Yale.
No practice stops will be made enroute to the coast, the squad going direct to Stanford University, where headquarters will be established.
