BALTIMORE, Jan. 9.--Information was received here yesterday by a gentleman from Annapolis, that a Spanish schooner from Baltimore was stranded on the upper end of Kent Island on Thursday night last. On Saturday three Spaniards and a black man were taken from the wreck by Capt. Langdon of Chester River. Several of the crew were on Kent Island. The captain and five men had taken the boat and started for Rockhall, and have not since been heard of. The vessel had bilged and was full of water, lying on her beam ends--the men were all frost bitten.
We have reason to believe the above vessel is the La Plata, Capt. Costamont, which sailed from this port on Thursday last. [Amer.
