Guards Seize British Rum Ship.

Boston—The British two masted schooner Aramay with 800 cases of liquor aboard was seized off the coast of Maine by a coast guard patrol boat. Thomas F. Finnegan, in charge of customs enforcement squad here, announced. The Aramay was taken into custody by the crew of the coast guard patrol boat Frederick Lee off Mount Desert island within the 12 mile limit, Finnegan said. She was towed here. The Aramay is a converted yacht of 55 tons net register and was well known to coast guard and customs officials, and Finnegan said the boat had been on the customs "suspected" list since 1922.
