WASHINGTON, April 8, (AP)- General Eisenhower told Congress that nobody, military experts or lawmakers alike, knows how many men the armed forces will be short if the draft expires. "No one can possibly forecast how short our requirements will be but everyone I heard agrees we will be short."
The Army Chief of Staff told the Senate military committee the Senate group agreed to vote tomorrow for the administration's request for a one year extension of selective service beyond the expiration day, May 15.
