A Change for the Better-Furnace in Full Blast-Everybody at Work.

S. J. Chambers and R. C. Reeves arrived from Jersey last night. They report a decided change for the better in the camp. The company has made another partial payment, and everybody has more or less money. The furnace started up last Saturday and ran splendidly, turning out 70 bars weighing over 90 pounds each, every 24 hours. The bullion assays $480 per ton in silver. By remodeling the furnace a great saving of coal has been effected. The mine continues to look well, and the prospects are much better than ever before.
