Many of our readers are not aware that we have one hundred and eighteen arrivals and departures of Stages per week. But such is nevertheless the fact. Three daily stages leave our town for Baltimore; two for Wheeling; two for McConnelsburg; one for Pittsburgh; and a tri-weekly stage for York. And the Eastern and Western stages are generally crowded. The mail is now carried through from Baltimore to Wheeling in the unusually short time of 78 hours—a distance of 268 miles.—Torch Light.
