GEORGIA KNOW NOTHING NOMINATIONS.—In the 3d District, the Know Nothings have conferred the nomination for Congress on Mr. Trippe, of Monroe. Mr. Trippe, as is very well known to our readers, is an old Whig. He supported Mr. Webster for the Presidency. He supported Mr. Jenkins in the last Gubernatorial campaign. He was the candidate against the Democratic Party, in the last Congressional canvass. He was a prominent Union man in the divisions of 1850. These are his claims on the support of the Democracy of the 3d District.

In the 2nd District, the Know Nothings have nominated Mr. Willis Hawkins, of Sumter. Mr. Hawkins is an old Whig. Mr. Hawkins was a Union Whig. Mr. Hawkins was a Jenkins man two years ago. Like Mr. Trippe, Mr. Hawkins has been very consistent in his opposition to the Democratic party. These are his claims on the support of the Democrats in Georgia.

In the 7th District, the Know Nothings have nominated Mr. N. G. Foster, of Morgan. Mr. Foster is an old Whig. Mr. Foster was a Union Whig. Mr. Foster, we believe, was a Webster Whig. Mr. Foster was a Jenkins man two years ago. Like Mr. Trippe and Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Foster has been very consistent in his opposition to the Democratic party. These are his claims on the Democratic support.

In the 4th District, the Know Nothings have nominated Mr. B. Hill, of Troup. Mr. Hill is an old Whig. Mr. Hill was a Union Whig. Mr. Hill was a Jenkins man two years ago. Like Mr. Trippe, and Mr. Hawkins, and Mr. Foster, Mr. Hill is a consistent enemy of the Democratic party. These are his claims on their support.

In the 5th District, the Know Nothings will support Mr. Lewis Tumlin, of Cass. Unlike the others, Mr. Tumlin has the additional claim of apostasy. Formerly a democrat, he "flew the track" several years ago. In 1850, a prominent Union man, he refused to act with the Democratic party on its re-organization, and gave all aid and comfort in his power to the Jenkins Whigs in the last Gubernatorial campaign. Like Mr. Trippe, Mr. Hill, Mr. Foster and Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Tumlin can boast of active hostility to the Democratic party. These are his claims on Democratic support.

Of course, then, Know Nothingism is not a whig trick, and democrats must support their nominations.

We shall see. We shall see.
