The body of a three-year-old boy who drowned Saturday was found about noon yesterday, the sheriff's office reported.
John Chappell, 3, and his mother, Mrs. Betty Chappell, another woman and another child, all of Lake Placid, Florida, were camping near Spanish Harbor Viaduct.
About 8:15 a. m. Saturday, it was noticed that the child was missing. His toy gun was found on one of the breakwaters at the viaduct.
Sheriff's deputies, highway patrolmen, and Navy helicopters searched the area. Two fishermen found the body yesterday on Big Pine Key.
