Members of
the
New Industries
Committee of the Putnam Chamber
of Commerce left Tuesday evening for
New York City where they will open
negotiations with the heads of the
new novelty concern desirous of securing
a factory location here.
A site proposition that the local
committee had secured from the Adam's
plant as most suited to their requirements
and had now apparently given the offer
serious consideration made representatives
of the Putnam Chamber of Commerce,
leaving yesterday, optimistic in regards
to the outcome of today's conference.
