Mr. Miln has achieved such remarkable success, and in so short a space of time, that curiosity is piqued in regard to his movements. But a few years ago he was a brilliant and successful preacher. Now he takes rank among the first actors of the day. He is young and handsome, and is accredited with the possession of the very highest dramatic ability. In such roles as Hamlet and Cardinal Richelieu, he stands side by side with Booth and Barrett; and as Booth and Barrett are well advanced in life, it is nothing more than natural to look to Mr. Miln as the coming tragedian of our time.
It is not often that a company so complete in its equipments and so thorough in its personnel, thinks it profitable to journey through this territory. But those companies which have come have been so well patronized that it is to be expected that more and more first-class companies will make the trip. Mr. Miln and his company have already played as far west as Fargo, Dak., and have met with the most flattering receptions at that place and at the other places along the line. We confidently expect that the company will be greeted with a magnificent welcome on its arrival here.
