By the ship General Lingan, Crabtree, arrived here yesterday from St. Ubes, having left that port on the 10th of April, we learn that the day before sailing, the town was illuminated in consequence of a victory obtained by the Constitutionalists over the Royal party in the district of Tras Montes, near Oporto. It was said that the general of the Royal party was taken prisoner, and that most of his forces had gone over to the side of the Constitutionalists. This battle was regarded as putting an end to the civil war in Portugal. [Balt. Amer.
