Boy Scout News

The meeting was opened at 7:30 at the Barracks with the Oath, Motto, Law, Slogan and Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

We had suggestions as to things to do in future meetings concerning handicrafts. Larry gave a speech on the need for new members, and Bob told us about the Explorer in Great Falls April 4, 5 and 6. We hope to have over six boys representing us there.

The ten boys present had riddles and jokes by various boys.

Next was a magic trick by the troop magician, Bobby. Mr. Snyder said our braiding material would be in soon.

We had one new member, Jimmy Scriver. We hope to have many new boys soon. All boys interested will be welcome to be at the barracks next Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

The troop has four boys going to the National Jamboree next July in Valley Forge, Penn.

The boys will leave Great Falls June 30 and return July 24 after three and a half weeks at camping and sight-seeing.
