CHICAGO, ILL., December 6.—Miss Petrela Johnson was today awarded by Judge Tuley $20 a week from her estate of $75,000, pending a decision upon the application recently made by her uncle that a conservator be appointed to manage her property. The lady is just of age. A few weeks ago she gave Gen. Booth, of the Salvation Army, $7500 to build a church. She wears the Salvationist uniform and continuously threatens to bestow the remainder of her fortune upon the ecclesiastical organization of which Booth is the head. Miss Johnson's lawyer today intimated the motive for her strange action was a determination to be rid of the disgraceful interference of her uncle in her affairs.
