THE COURTS. - Our courts yesterday appeared to have caught the prevailing dullness.
In the U. S. District Court, Judge Hillyer presiding, Judge Belknap was trying to open some old judicial sore as our reporter meandered through the hall, but with what success the items man knows not. In Judge King's Court, where chairs, law books, benches, spittoons, etc., were piled up in the most discouraging confusion, we found Mayo Greenlaw admiring the new fresco work and inhaling the smell of new paint. Judge Cary's Court panned out one petit larceny case which is elsewhere noticed.
