Full Text
The 9th district road supervisor who has charge of the old Harford road from the Harford turnpike past the property of the late Mr. Cole, has been doing a very foolish thing. Some time during last week he had the dirt from the gutters and sides of the road shoveled on to the road bed, in some places to the depth of a foot. Just after this a heavy rain came and on Sunday last the road was almost impassable. It is a useless waste of time and will keep the roads bad all winter to shovel earth on them at this season of the year.
