George Loop, manager of the McAllen J. C. Penney store, is sporting a new DeSoto "airflow" sedan this week, purchased from the Lee Auto company. George is all pepped up over his new car and says that it is like riding an airplane.
"Driving a new car gives a fellow a funny feeling," George says. "If you drive down the street and wave your hand at your friends it looks like you're showing off. On the other hand if you look straight ahead, it looks like you're stuck up. So what's a fellow to do?"
