Full Text

Carl Schurz is doing an effective work for Lincoln. His services are eagerly sought after and he can accept but a small portion of the invitations extended to him. Seward will speak in Wisconsin and several other Western States, during the campaign.

All through the North, the feeling for Breckinridge is gaining ground.

Daniel S. Dickinson made the great speech of the campaign, at the late Breckinridge rally in New York. It was one of his best efforts. Of course the Douglas men are not alarmed. Oh no. Douglas never had better prospects—of a total defeat.
