MAY LOSE EYE

Mary Ann, the 15-months old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Jas Sweeney is in Fargo receiving treatment for a distressing accident that occurred to her Monday evening, and which may cost the sight of an eye, if not the eye itself. She was with some older children watching a game of mumblety-peg, when the knife was thrown and accidentally hit her in the eye. Dr. Rumreich was immediately called, and arrangements were made to take the little one to a specialist. Mr. and Mrs. Sweeney immediately started, and arrangements were made by telephone with the physician there. No time was lost, and the baby was on the operating table in fifteen minutes after they reached Fargo. It is too early to tell what the outcome will be at this time.
