EXPECTED BUSINESS.
Minneapolis, Minn.--The Omaha
railway will spend $1,500,000 for
new rolling stock this summer, it was
announced today by J. T. Clark, vice
president of the road. The order
for cars will be placed in a short
time and the cars delivered as fast as
they can be turned out. The bulk
of the order will consist of box
freight cars, of which there will be
1,500. The addition of this equip-
ment will place the Omaha in splen-
did condition to handle the large
crops predicted on every hand. Mr.
Clark said. Besides this there will
be 100 refrigerator cars and 300 au-

order at this time is considered by
railway officials an encouraging
