Texas Communists Name General Election Ticket

SAN ANTONIO, Aug. 14.—(UP)—The Texas Communist party announced its ticket today for the general election after candidates were selected at a secret meeting held last night.

The announcement, made by Homer Brooks, state chairman, listed the following candidates:

For U. S. Senator: Homer Brooks.

For congress, 20th District: Emma Tenajcua, San Antonio.

For governor: B. H. Lauderdale.

For lieutenant-governor: Cecil B. Robinette, negro, Houston.

For attorney general: J. Lloyd Wright, San Antonio.

For agricultural commissioner: Orton T. Campbell, Waco.

For railroad commissioner: Enoch Hardway, Monahans.
