Rhode Island. The Democratic State Convention of Rhode Island will meet at Providence in this month for the purpose of choosing delegates to the Baltimore Convention. If our intelligence is correct, it will unanimously declare in favor of Mr. Van Buren. Many of the primary meetings have chosen delegates to the State Convention positively pledged, and others, though not requiring a pledge, but leaving the delegates to act upon discretion for the good of the party; have selected persons whose sentiments are well known to be in favor of that gentleman. -Vicks.
