Harry Noon Renshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Renshaw, who has won world fame as a marksman, and who is now participating in the National Rifle Shoot at Camp Perry, Ohio, has been commissioned an ensign on the United States Coast Guard Cutter Tahoe with San Francisco as its base.
This information was received in a telegram to his father. The wire was sent from Washington just before Renshaw left for Camp Perry.
He will stop at Nogales to visit his parents for a few days on his way to San Francisco as soon as the contest at Camp Perry is over.
Harry Renshaw is 23 years old. He was born and raised in Nogales and educated at the public schools here. He later attended Arizona State University where he was very prominent in all military activities.
He gained world fame when he led the American Rifle team to victory at the International Shoot at Antwerp, Belgium this year. He has won scores of cups, medals and other trophies by his superior ability as a marksman.
