LIBRARY
NOTES

Interest shown by Gradale Sorority in the West Jefferson Library in their recent effort to raise money to help the Library is greatly appreciated by the Board and all concerned.

This is in the tradition of organizations here for it was through the efforts of two older clubs The Domestic Science and Harmony Club that the Library was started in the first place. Had you forgotten this or perhaps you did not know it.

It is a fine thing to have this young group showing the same spirit.

West Jefferson is fortunate to have such a Library, many small communities do not.

Has it become a privilege which we take for granted or do not use and appreciate to have this place to which we may go freely for books, magazines and other reading material.

There are places in the world where people are not so fortunate, How very lucky we are!
