FIRE!

On Wednesday night last the extensive Woollen Factory in Springfield, the property of Mr. Matthias Denman, occupied by Messrs. M'Donald & Phipps for the woollen business, and by Mr. John Clark for the paper making business, was entirely consumed by fire, which is supposed to have originated in the fulling mill. Very little of the stock was saved from the devouring element. The loss is estimated at from 12 to 15,000 dollars. We learn that insurance was had on the above property for $8,000.
