Mrs. P. C. Kemp of Tishomingo Relieved of Purse by Prisoner in Tishomingo Waiting Room.
Purse Was Found.

Mrs. P. C. Kemp of Tishomingo had her pocket book stolen from her yesterday in the depot at Tishomingo by a prisoner en route to the jail here from that point.

Mrs. Kemp was in the waiting room of the station to take the train to Ardmore. At the same time a large number of prisoners in charge of the marshals, en route here to be placed in jail, were in the room. Mrs. Kemp left her pocketbook containing $15.00 on the seat and one of the prisoners saw his opportunity and secreted it about his person.

Yesterday afternoon immediately after arriving at the jail the missing purse and money was found on the person of Calvin Cravens, one of the negro prisoners.

Both purse and money was returned to Mrs. Kemp today by Jailer Niblack.
