Full Text

The directors of the Northwestern Alaska Fair Association held another meeting last night and decided to change the date of the Fair to August 18. 19, 20. and 21.

The reason given for the change is that Fairbanks is having their Annual Fair at the time, August 26, 27, and 28, and had already published the dates.

The Fair will open with a potlatch for all natives with Arctic Native Brotherhood as hosts to the visiting natives.

A tentative list of supervisor appointments was made and left to president Charles D. Jones for confirmation at which time a general meeting will be held.

Manager. Carl D. Anderson is planning to begin today for soliciting advertising for the premium list.

The Fourth of July committee was to be invited to conduct sports during the Fair.
