An order was entered allowing the Trustees $1,127 for building a school-house in Macon, but on reconsideration the order was set aside.
J. C. Gilmore was allowed $600, a payment in advance on contract for lining county jail.
On the 5th day of May, 1873, an order was entered authorizing the Treasurer to receive a draft on Sims, Harrison & Co., in full payment of said indebtedness against Sheriff Moore. It appearing that the Treasurer has never received said draft, the order set aside.
The late Sheriff Moore or his sureties are allowed to pay $650 in warrants or $500 in currency.
On the 3d of March it appeared to the Board that $29,161 should be in the hands of the Treasurer, and it was ordered that unless the same is settled or satisfactorily arranged by the Treasurer by the 15th of March, 1874, that suit be brought for the same and that 2 per cent damages be charged against him.
