Rev. Edward Hasler, pastor of Memorial Moravian Church for the past 2 and one half years, will leave next Friday, July 8 for duty in Trinidad. His last service will be held on Sunday, and a Farewell service will take place on Thursday, July 7. All local ministers will participate.
Mrs. Aronowitz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian members of the church, will sing at the Farewell Service, and also at the service this coming Sunday. She is a trained singer, and has sung at the Carnegie Hall, New York.
Rev. Hasler's successor is expected here in September. Rev C H. Trowell of Nisky Moravian will act temporarily as pastor of Memorial Church.
The American Board of Foreign Missions will
take over churches in the entire Caribbean region.
The churches are now under the British Board.
