The W. C. T. U. District No. 3 Convention met in Dermott May 7th, 1926, with Mrs. J. N. Robertson of Monticello presiding.
The morning session was devoted to business.
Very interesting programs were rendered afternoon and evening.
One of the outstanding features of the afternoon program was a talk on child welfare by Mrs. Grisham, state supervisor of Red Cross nurses. Mr. Thad Rowden, state Federal Law Enforcement officer, delivered an interesting address at the night session.
The gold medal contest was won by Amelia Simpson of Wilmot. The convention was closed in an impressive manner with the World Flag demonstration conducted by Mrs. Jennie Carr Pittman, State President. State officers present were Mesdames Jennie Carr Pittman, Eugenia Hineman and Sallie B. Hays.
