Interesting Trial. - During the term of the Court of Sessions, New York, ending on Saturday, a very interesting trial took place which occupied the court several days. It appears the Mr. Paul, an extensive printer of that city, had published a quarto edition of the Bible, with Scott's commentaries, and had received a number of letters from several of the cities of the Union, containing orders for copies of said Bible to a considerable amount, which he answered, leaving a few copies - on hand. It also appears that the Messrs. Smiths, printers, published an octavo edition of said Bible, and it turned out that all the orders transmitted to Mr. Paul, were forgeries. Under these circumstances, the Messrs. Smiths were indicted for conspiracy. The trial lasted four days. The district attorney, Emmett, and Caines, for the prosecution; Elisha Williams, Slosson, and Price for defendants.

Great talent was exhibited at this trial, on all sides. Mr. Williams, it is said, spoke for four hours, in his usual style of commanding eloquence; and the jury, after being out several hours, came into court and said they could not agree, and begged to be discharged, as they were exhausted -- The court sent them back, and after some time, they returned, and acquitted the accused.
